We are Kardemimmit, a folk music band from Finland.
All four young women play 15- and 38-stringed kantele (which is the national instrument of Finland) and sing as well (or nearly as well). We have played together so many years that we don't remember anymore how many. Kardemimmit plays mostly new kantele music but all our music is based on Finnish tradition, both Eastern and Western.
