Julie Sokolow is a musician, filmmaker, and writer, whose work has been acclaimed by Pitchfork, Wire, and The Washington Post.
She’s a 2012 recipient of a Creative Development Grant from The Pittsburgh Foundation towards her first feature-length documentary, Aspie Seeks Love. She is also the founder and director of the Sprout Fund Seed-Awarded, Healthy Artists, documentary series. In 2013, she was invited to officially blog about the Healthy Artists project for Michael Moore. Her work has recently been featured by TIME (forthcoming), Boing Boing, and HTMLGIANT.
