We all get older, it’s a fact of life, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, although our youth-obsessed culture would have us think otherwise. Youth is a state of mind and I believe we’re as young as we want to be by our actions and not by a number. To hell with all the people who think you should be a certain way because you’re at a certain age. It’s your life so don’t be boxed in by someone else’s insecurities or mental limitations.

In the end, I think it all really comes down to the way we feel about ourselves and where we are in life. When we’re feeling fine we want to celebrate with laughter and surround ourselves with people we care about. When we’re in a bad place we shut down and fixate on “if only I was this way or that way”. The real beauty is that we can be whatever we want and as soon as we choose it, we create our own realities.
