“J’sar’s voice of reason deserves to be heard.
” – Wendy Day, www.rapcoalition.org

J’sar was born in Newport News, Virginia. Introduced to music by his older sister, he began writing and recording his lyrics on a basic tape recorder during his elementary school years. He developed a passion for music, that would become his outlet. As J’sar began the journey of perfecting his craft, he would habitually skipped on fun with his peers, sacrficing many a summer day working to advance his skills as he continued pursuing his dream of a career in music.

Outside of the studio, experiences on both sides of the tracks have molded J’sar into a voice of the people. J’sar’s witty rhyme style infiltrates the listener’s mind, paving the way to stimulate interest all over the globe.

J’sar recently dubbed his stage performance The J’sar Show, promoted via social media under #TheJsarShow. J’sar has performed at numerous events, notably HipHopSince1987.com’s Can I Kick It 2014 and Shaggfest, which features the homecoming of Pharrell to Virginia. His music has been featured on super producer and hip-hop legend Nottz Raw’s latest project, Welcome Home Volume 2 and Welcome Home Volume 3. J’sar’s music has earned favorable review during !llmind's Submission Sundays and also made it’s way in the studio of the Grammy winning J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League’s own sound architect Edward “UK” Nixon.

“I want to take my music to the next level, gain the ear of millions, while growing a global fan base. As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to rap and be the voice you chose to listen to.”
