This popularity did not happen just by chance, but as a result of José's determination, perseverance and dedication for more than 20 years of hard work. In the early 1990s, José Hita was already very popular among the most important DJ booths of Andalusia, becoming an essential DJ in the best clubs of the Spanish coast during the summer and of Sierra Nevada during the ski season. His exceptional versatility, as well as his unique way of understanding music and of combining styles, helped to build his noteworthy reputation.

In order to keep on developing his career, José Hita studied Sound Engineering and Production in London and New York, apart from graduating from Berklee College of Music, the most important private music university around the globe, located in Boston, Massachusetts.

Development and leap to fame:

In the late 1990s, José Hita moves to Marbella, where he starts hobnobbing with first-class personalities. His residency in Dreamers Puerto Banús signalled a turning point in his career. In this outstanding club, he shared booth with highly relevant DJs: David Morales, Louie Vega, Sneak, Yousef, Mateo & Matos, Erick Morillo, Roger Sánchez, etc. He soon begins to be requested by international clubs, such as Pacha Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, or for many other kind of events, which open up a world of new horizons for José Hita: tours in Portugal with Citroën and Renault, sessions in Milan and London Fashion Weeks for reputed designers, such as Diane von Furstenberg, Damiani or Kristian Aadnevik, among others.

His performances for royal families (Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Greece) confirmed his scope among high-level VIPs.

His sessions are requested by some of the hottest clubs in Europe; as well, he has become a regular in the most exclusive clubs in the Iberian Peninsula and in major events, such as London and Milan Fashion Weeks.

José Hita also plays at exclusive parties and events, as well as regularly for several international celebrities, such as Kate Moss, Cheryl Cole, Bohórquez Domecq family, Chandris family, Pilar Crespi, Chelsea Clinton, HRH Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia, HRH King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Nikolaos of Greece and Denmark, F.
