Singer/songwriter Jon T. Howard was born in St.
Charles, MO, but moved to Chicago as a teenager, and there began playing in bars. He continued to do so after his family moved again to Dallas while he was in high school. As a day job, he became a model, a career that took him around the world. In London, he cut his first record, "In Your Eyes." Moving to Los Angeles, he joined the band Ku De Tah, then left to return to solo work, issuing his debut album, Americana, in 1996. He wrote songs for films including Defying Gravity and Civility. His second album, Christopher's Daddy, was a collection of children's songs. It was followed by Dreaming of America and Dance of Life. Time for Something New was issued by MettaFour Records on June 12, 2007. ~ William Ruhlmann
