I play in various groups, such as the Keystone Big Band (which I co-founded), the brasilian jazz GarrafaJazz, and the well named "Fred Nardin-Jon Boutellier" 4tet.

I also teach jazz harmony at the conservatory of Lyon, which happens to be the best city of the world for many things.

I love every jazz players from Adderley to Zeitlin, but I have a peculiar appreciation for Joe Henderson, Thad Jones, Gene Ammons, McCoy Tyner, Duke Pearson, Marty Paich, Eddie Harris, Clifford Jordan, Shorty Rogers, Kenny Dorham among others.
