Born youngest son of pastors, in the small town of Columbia Kentucky, Jonathan Lemmon has been spreading the gospel through song for nearly 10 years.
Writing his first song at the age of 18, Jonathan, now residing in North Carolina with his Wife Jennifer, has gone on to lead worship and sing Christian music around the globe. Music is not just his passion, but also his “call”, or at least one of them. In addition to writing and recording music, he also has a passion for working with children who are experiencing serious medical challenges. In his day job, Jonathan provides programming for these children, which allows them to escape from their reality for a few moments and have the fun their heart desires. However, this too plays a vital role in the music side of his life. Jonathan says “God speaks to me through the lives that I have the privilege to encounter, and hopefully the songs that come from it will speak to someone else who might be going through the same thing.” In his newest release, Faith Walk, he explores that sentiment even further. Faith Walk is full of the feelings that every Christian might experience at some point on their walk. The album is full of highs and lows and all that is in between, from the soaring rock anthem," Fly", to the somber reality check of "Listen". Faith Walk is slated to be released this fall, 2013.
it. Each and every track is honest and relatable. When asked what he hopes to accomplish through this sonically exceptional record, Jonathan says " I hope this album gives encouragement most importantly. I also hope that it gives other Christians and non Christians alike the perspective that following Christ is not about being perfect. Even Christians have doubts and bad days.” Faith Walk will be released (Insert Date Here).
