In his formative years, he studied classical guitar at the Irish Academy of Music while also playing in a rock band and working with artists as a producer, arranger and session musician.

He has scored music for a number of television dramas including the highly successful crime series ‘Proof'. He has also composed music for several Short Films such as the awarding winning ‘Prey Alone’ and ‘Venom’. His music has featured in a number of high profile commercials including the official campaign promoting the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and other international campaigns for clients such as Guinness, Heineken, Vodafone and the Dublin International Film Festival. His television work for the national Irish broadcaster (RTE) includes theme music for The Six Nations Rugby, Premier Soccer, Television News and The World Cup.
