John Ragusa has been called “One of today’s finest improvisational flutists” by the legendary Paul Horn.
John performs an original mix of jazz, roots, blues, latin, and world music as a soloist and with his band, in New York City and around the world. John is one half of the award-winning duo, Mulebone, and for the past 12 years has been featured in concert and on recordings with the acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman.

John has several CD’s under his own name and is featured on over 50 albums, television and movie soundtracks.
