ENGLISH (EN ESPAÑOL MAS ABAJO): Joad Manuel Jimenez, was born in Valencia (Venezuela) on August 4th 1973. His musical career began in 1989 with small garage bands, and by 1994 his career took a big leap when he became the singer for venezuelan legendary band ARKANGEL, and with them, records the album "EL ANGEL DE LA MUERTE",( ANGEL OF DEATH). After that, in 2002, he records the album "GENETICAL BREAKDOWN" with the powerful band CENTURION.

Finally, in 2009, he records the album "ENFRENTANDO LA REALIDAD" (FACING THE REALITY) with one of the most important venezuelans bands of the present, SEXTO SONAR but in april 2013 he decides to quit the band for different reasons

After a career spanning more than 20 years, Joad Manuel Jimenez is one of the most successful metal singers of Venezuela, with a distinctive strong voice and a uniquely powerful stage presence.

Along with his experience in many other bands (TORRE DE MARFIL, SANCTUARY, BAMBARA BLUES BAND, THE NOWHERE BAND), he sings with the internationally awarded male voices choir of the UCV since 1996, and with a mixed voices choir since 2000 having made, many national and international tours over the years.

ESPAÑOL: Joad Manuel Jiménez nace en Valencia Estado Carabobo (Venezuela), el 4 de Agosto de 1973, inicia su carrera musical en 1989 tocando en diversas bandas de garaje junto a su gran amigo Paul Spiekermann, luego de varios años de trabajo duro, su carrera da un gran salto al ingresar a las filas de la leyenda del heavy metal venezolano "ARKANGEL", con ellos permanece hasta el año 2002, dejando en su haber un album llamado "El Angel de la Muerte" y numerosas giras y conciertos entre los cuales cabe destacar 2 Festivales en Colombia junto a bandas de la talla de tenebrarum, masacre y kraken, ademas de las presentaciones en Venezuela junto a Rick Wakemann (Ex yes) y Baron Rojo (España).

Luego de renunciar por voluntad propia al ARKANGEL, se incorpora a las filas de la banda valenciana "CENTURION" grabando el Álbum "Genetical Breakdown", luego de lo cual abandona la banda dedicándose principalmente a culminar su carrera universitaria aunque sin abandonar por completo la música.

A lo largo de los años Joad Manuel Jiménez ha ido consolidando una fructifera carrera pasando por diferentes bandas y proyectos entre los cuales estan TORRE DE MARFIL, BAMABRA BLUES BAND, THE NOWHERE BAND SANCTUARY, ademas de formar parte del movimiento coral venezolano formando parte de las agrupaciones CORO DE VOCES OSCURAS DE LA UCV CAMPUS MARACAY y CORO UNIVERSITARIO DE LA UCV CAMPUS MARACAY, para finalmente en el 2007 incorporarse a las filas de la agrupacion oriunda de Maracay Estado Aragua "Sexto Sonar" con quienes graba el album "ENFRENTANDO LA REALIDAD" y el EP "WORLD IN CHAOS", permaneciendo con ellos hasta abril del 2013, momento en el que decide renunciar a la banda por diferencias musicales

Hoy por hoy y luego de 22 años de carrera Joad Manuel Jiménez se encuentra activo y trabajando no solo junto a sexto sonar sino tambien como asistente de producción del power trio valenciano THUNDERHELL y en un proyecto solista con varios músicos amigos como invitados.

Recientemente participó en calidad de invitado en un evento en la ciudad de Bogotá Colombia denominado "Las Mejores Voces de Suramerica" junto a Elkin Ramirez (Kraken, Colombia) y Adrian Barilari (Rata Blanca Argentina) ademas de la banda AGAMEZ.
