Being featured on local and international radio stations such as Pete Tong’s Bedroom Bedlam/radio station in 2008, he continues to produce outstanding originals and remixes.

A tekkie since near birth, J has been using a computer since he was a toddler and producing his own tracks since the age of 12. Learning programs such as Pro Tools, Reason, and Ableton Live as a kid, He has since significantly created outstanding original tracks to release to the public.

Other than producing music, J-Lektro also learned how to DJ and properly blend music. After witnessing live Disk Jockeys have total control over crowd during concerts and performing wild maneuvers on the stage, is one of the primary reasons why he became a Disk Jockey.

J's Style is heavily influenced from listening to various genres of music while growing up. Living in Chicago has introduced him to House music and its history, which is primarily why he mixes electronic music. In addition to living in Chicago, as a child, he lived in a village near the town of Bristol, UK, at a time when lots of electronic music was played on the radio. The music being played included a heavy influence of house, disco, and trance music, only further explaining his love for electronic music. Other than his heavy love for electronic music, he listens to almost any genre of music, carefully listening to its structure and its sounds, only furthering his ideals for his next production.
