Jimi Tribe featuring blues rock guitarist Gerry Joe Weise, is a Jimi Hendrix Tribute Band.
Gerry Joe Weise was billed at the 1996 Jimi Hendrix 30th Commemoration Festival with Noel Redding. He headlined at the 2009 Woodstock 40th Anniversary Tribute Festival near Paris. Gerry Joe Weise has played with Noel Redding, and jammed with B.B.King, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins and Eric Clapton. He has released the albums : 2012 Live And Proud (Blues Breaking Records USA), 2009 Blues Down Under (Blues Breaking Records), 2005 Sydney Paris Blues (Blues Breaking Records), 1999 Bushman Boogie Deluxe (Blues Breaking Records), 1996 A Letter To Jimi (ABM Australia), 1994 Live In Paris (Blues Breaking Records).

With Juma Sultan :

Juma Sultan (percussionist) performed with Jimi Hendrix in 1969 at the Woodstock Festival, as well as on the Dick Cavett Show and at a special show in Harlem, New York. He was interviewed extensively for the documentary films : "Jimi Hendrix" and "Live at Woodstock". Juma has recorded with Archie Shepp, James Blood Ulmer, Noah Howard, Kalaparusha Maurice McIntyre, Sonny Simmons, Daoud Haroon, Asha Nan, Emmeretta Marks, Don Moore Band, and Sankofa. In 2006 the Clarkson University in conjunction with Juma, received a grant from the National Endowment of the Arts to preserve Juma's audio and video documentation of Avant-garde jazz during the 1960s and 1970s. Juma Sultan is also a Christian Minister. In August 2013, Juma Sultan performed in the band of Australian guitarist Gerry Joe Weise and Jimi Tribe, at the 4th Belovely Day Festival in Paris on the Seine River.
