Hi everybody, my name is Jenny Bapst Boussaert, I was born in Paris to a French, Native American and African American mother and a French father.
I grew up in a lower class, rough-and-tumble suburb on the outskirts of Paris. I had a lot of dreams but one of them was my passion for basketball. It is when I had the option to play at a professional level that my life took a unexpected turn...
I was going to school in Paris when I got discovered by an agent who told me that I should be a model and could potentially go to NYC. This was something I dreamt of since a young age and here I was at the age of 19, leaving my family, friends and one dream for a bigger one...
I am currently a fashion model signed with Elite Model Management and several other agencies around the world. I have had the privilege to work with some of the greatest names in the industry including LOreal, Jean Paul Gaultier, Benetton, Roberto Cavalli, Peter Beard and Bandolino. I have been in some of the best magazines like Vogue, Elle, Vibe, Trace, and San Francisco magazine, which have helped me create an amazing portfolio. With modeling under my belt, I always knew in my heart that music was my true love and it is when I finally discovered and met my Grandfather "Rocky Roberts," a famous Rhythm and Blues Singer in Italy, that I finally realized who I was, where I was coming from and that music was in my blood...
After releasing my first EP entitled "Just 4 Play" in 2012 and creating a buzz online, i was also in the process of recording my first album named "Allez".
The album consist of 9 tracks with a first single and video called "So Exotic", and just released a second song an video " Everybody ".
With "Allez" i created a unique atmosphere. Being a foreigner and a mix cultured person and growing up with so many different sounds around me, I am putting all of this in my music.
I am collaborating with different artists and producers from all over the world and all types of musical backgrounds to create an international sound that can't be categorized in one type of music.
From Paris to New York City
