“Hailed as one of themost electrifying guitarists you’ll ever hear,” Jay Jesse Johnson (JJJ) has worked in recording studios from New York City to San Francisco andhas performed in venues throughout North America.
In 2010, Johnson was featured in Classic Rock Magazine along with Joe Bonamassa, on the CD, Bluesbreaker’s, the hottest new blues/rock.Over the years, Johnson has shared the stage with Johnny Winter, Robin Trower ,Pat Travers and The Fabulous Thunderbirds, to name a few. Currently, Johnson is featured on the April 2013 featured CD, TheCream of Contemporary Blues, in UK’s, “Blues Magazine.” In 2012, Johnson released his fourth solo album, Run WithThe Wolf, on Blues Bureau International / Shrapnel Records, which hasreceived rave reviews and airplay worldwide. Charting in the top 50 in 2012 onthe syndicated program, Smokestack Lightning, Run With The Wolf also charted on the National Roots Music Reportfor more than three months. Prior solo albums include, Play That Damn Guitar (2009), I’veGot An Ax To Grind (2008) and StrangeImagination (2006)
