Jany Schella from Sweden is a well established multi platinum record producer, composer, artist with more than 10 million records sold around the world.
Jany's father Henry bought him a piano at the age of 5 and he started singing and playing on it and later on at the age of 10 he joined different constellations of bands and performed on stage around the Stockholm area. He was also a great hip hop dancer. Jany is a great keyboardist and a pristine singer and pryor to his career as a producer he was an artist which led him to a record deal. He started working on his solo album but that album never came out due to business conflicts, so instead he turned his focus to penning songs and producing material for other artists. That led him up to his first break as a songwriter and recordproducer in 1996 scoring major cuts in Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and the later in the U.S. Jany had his ”big break” when he wrote and produced the hit song ”Trackin” for Billy Crawford, an artist signed to V2 Records at the time. The song was released in 2001 and became an instant hit selling up to 1 million copies in Europe. In 2002 Jany ended up working with Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland. The result became the song ”Haven’t told you” for her debutalbum which sold 2.5 million albums worldwide. Jany was the first songwriter from Sweden to ever get a song cut by a major artist on the urban scene. His writing and production skills became high in demand in Europe and in the United States but his dreams came to a stop after a tragedy in May 2004 when his kid brother Robert Schella was killed in a car accident. In 2006 he decided to return to the musicbusiness and continue in doing what he does best, and that is to write and produce hit music for the future.

Jany's range of styles is very diverse spreading from urban clubby joints to guitar driven singer-song-writer type tunes but with focus on strong melodies and lyrics. His production skills are top-level. Give him a great song and he'll turn it into a HIT!
