The vibes of these events were so inspirational that he wanted to be part of it himself. Not just wanting to go to events as a clubber, he quickly learned the art of DJing. Shortly after, he participated in a DJ contest in Freiburg (Germany) in 1998, where his successful second place lead to first bookings at E-Werk (DE - Freiburg).International bookings at Airbeat One (DE - Airport Neustadt-Glewe), Guayas (CH - Bern), Eventhouse (CH - Basel) and Warehouse (CH - Zurich) followed. One thing led to another and further event organisers noticed Jan and his mixing skills, giving him the opportunity to DJ at the famous Techno Giants Party (with Carl Cox) at Universal D.O.G (DE – Freiburg/Lahr). After DJing for several years, he was looking for a new challenge and started producing his own tracks which resulted in a first release on Proxoz Recordings in 2008.

Returning from a short break, he teamed up with his friend Michael Jay Parker and made a name for himself with the highly successful tracks Shinowata (Nov 2011, Garuda Rec., incl. Paul Webster remix) and Sundown (Feb 2012, Tool Records/Tool Trance) - both of which landed in the Top20 BeatportTrance Charts. Newer and also strongly supported releases include Frequency (Jun 2012, Tool Records/Tool Trance) and Firefox (Nov 2013, Tool Records/Tool Trance).

Needless to say that he is tirelessly working on new sounds and the next single is already waiting in the wings to be released in Mar 2014.
