Jack Daley is a world-class bassist, studio musician, mix engineer and record producer.
After moving to New York City in the late 1980s, Jack quickly established himself as one of the city’s top bass players.

In 1993, during Lenny Kravitz’s Universal Love Tour, Jack auditioned for the gig… along with about twenty of New York’s top bassist. Surprisingly enough, that ended up being the easy part.

After the audition Jack and one other bassist were flown to L.A. to compete in an open radio fueled audition that involved 250 hopefuls.

Jack nailed the audition and spent nearly 15 years as Lenny’s bassist of choice on several world tours, CDs, DVDs, music videos and TV appearances.

In addition to his work with Lenny, Jack has also been in great demand as a studio bass player, musical director and producer for several very well known artists.

Jack has been a very busy boy, appearing on recordings and/or production and mixing as well as in live performances for Beyonce, Joss Stone, Rob Thomas, Five for fighting, Phillip Phillips, Daryl Hall, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Jason Mraz, Everlast, Leona Lewis, Naughty by Nature, Johnny Reid, Queen Latifah, Shabba Ranks, Will Young, Gareth Gates, Avril Lavigne, The Lighthouse Family, M People, Emma Bunton, Fefe Dobson, Henry Lee Summers, Des’ree, Lucie Silvas, Jay James Picton, Andreya Triana, Estelle, Alana Davis, Chaka Khan, The Temptations, Ricky Fante, Daniel Merriweather, Ultra Vivid Scene, The Bang Bang Club, The Kixx, Ironic, Venice Ahoy, Super 400, Marius Muller Westernhagen, Vitamin C, Ryan Star, Gloriana, Amanda Marshall, Susanna Hoffs, Boz Scaggs, Shaun Colvin, Natalie Merchant, Bo Diddley, Iggy Pop, David Johannson, James Brown, Paulo Gonzo, Jay-Z, Dana Fuchs, Gedeon Luke, Mick Jagger and of course Lenny Kravitz, among others.

Jack is currently working on several projects as a record producer, mixer, and session bassist. He also keeps very busy in his own personal production studio.
