Things went a little sour for whatever reason so we broke up. Long story short, Dead in the vein was trying to get back together in 2009 but someone fell short

and then Brad & David went in search for a new drummer and a new name. Only a 2 short months went by when we found Jon. David only had 1 jam session with Jon and knew right away he was perfect for the position. And another long story short, we had the name "Army of the Sun"

which didn't seem to adhere to what we were about and what our aim was musically. That's when we came up with "Isolate the Unknown". Then in summer of 2013 we went in search of a new vocalist. This is when we found Skovy. Skovy originally was our producer/engineer on the demo Approaching Infinity. Another long story short, Skovy loved our music and we loved everything about what Skovy can do vocally, BAMMM...He's in the band. That's the bio.

Isolate the Unknown is a diverse Heavy Rock/Metal band. Each member comes from a different musical background and holds different musical influences, thus creating a unique sound the their music and playability. This is what separates Isolate the Unknown from the rest of todays music genres or bands. The band's 9 song Demo "Approaching Infinity" is the representation of their unique writing and strong musical ability. Their music only touches on the boundaries of other genres, never fully stepping foot into a musical collective. This allows the band to have an infinite room of writing. Hence the title "Approaching Infinity".
