Intertwining Pop, Alternative, R&B and EDM influences, his viral first single, "This Dream,” the inspiring NBC 2012 London Games anthem, reached an astonishingly speedy 800,000+ YouTube plays in it's first few days alone. This was accomplished without the backing of a major label. "This Dream" was also featured during the 2012 Enactus World Cup and in Cartoon Network's "2013 Hall Of Game Awards" as a closing tribute to honor Team USA's London Gold Medalists.

Building on the success of this first single, ísland has again entered the studio to work on the infectious, nu-funk Halloween release, "On The Prowl” among other pending tracks. A rising songwriter and producer as well, he collaborates with close friend and OneRepublic writer/member, Brent Kutzle, penning songs for the likes of Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Walt Disney Pictures and Warner Brothers Pictures.

Additionally, while continuing to write and record new material, ísland remains involved with charitable causes close to his heart, currently recording a song for the Michael's Dream Foundation (MichaelsDreamFoundation.org) to raise awareness and funds for the Michael Jackson Children's Hospital. He is also an active supporter of the "Literally Healing" program at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles (chla.org).
