Italian five-piece rock act Negrita was formed in the early '90s by ex-members of a band called Inu-Dibili.
While touring the local club circuit, the band recorded its first EP in 1992, two years later releasing its self-titled debut album, getting the hit single "Cambio." In 1995, the group issued Paradisi Per Illusi, presented live throughout Europe. Negrita's first major achievement was to represent Italy at Turkey's European Rock Festival. In 1996, the band moved to the U.S. to make XXX, issued in January of 1997, following with 1999's Reset, getting the single "Hollywood" nominated to the European MTV Music Awards. ~ Drago Bonacich
