Mihaela and Gabriela's compositions are inspired by the Romanian folklore and their quality has led those who heard them consider the Indiggo Twins "ambassadors of the great Romanian tradition" (as seen in Jay-Z and Kanye West "Watch The Throne"' s booklet). Mihaela and Gabriela were introduced to music at the age of 6, and have continued taking piano, guitar, canto, and dancing lessons since then. They started performing at the age of 12, and have been continuously featured in the media since then.
Gabriela is the producer and arranger of Indiggo's music, while Mihaela is the poet, lyricist & fashion designer of the duo.

Mihaela and Gabriela Modorcea both majored in acting, having graduated from the National University of Theatre and Cinematographic Arts of Bucharest with maximum credits.
They played the leads in the award-winning musical "The Two Orphans", and in several other theatre plays following which they attended acting courses in Cologne-Germany and in New York.
Gabriela guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as she appears as Taj's sister in the National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj.
Mihaela and Gabriela appeared together in the 2009 Russian/American film No Love In The City.
The twins guest starred on The Tyra Banks Show, on TMZ (FOX), The Happy Hour (FOX Business) and “Hair Battle Spectacular” (Oxygen).
Mihaela and Gabriela debuted their theatre show "Wicked Clone" on June 21st 2010 at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in NYC. The cinematic play Wicked Clone written by Mihaela Modorcea is based on her Wicked Clone novel and is set to open Off Broadway this summer starring Mihaela and Gabriela Modorcea featuring the twins' compositions, writing, choreography, costumes & performance.
