founded 2002 in Hamburg, incite/ is criss-crossing art and club worlds.

Fragmented synths excursions set up on an extraordinary sub bass foundation somewhere between unorthodox dancefloor and glitch, tightly synchronized with greyscale HD-visuals between abstraction and semi-narration - immersive synaesthetic experiences for ears and eyes.

incite/ has presented five major audiovisual live sets until today: iconicity (2004 - 2006), mindpiercing (2007 - 2009), dualicities (2009 - 2010), zoom studies (2010 - 2011) and holistic glue (premiered in fall 2012) and is already working on the next (beyond the entropic dimension, to be premiered in 2015). The duo has won their reputation in numerous live performances, many of them on international festivals for new media art, video art, new music, electro, industrial and other genres, often bridging the gap between club culture and art events.

incite/ was awarded several times, most recently at WRO2011 (Wroclaw, PL), the Visual Music Award 2012 (Frankfurt - Visual Music Live Contest), the Qwartz Award 2012 (Paris - Qwartz Dancefloor) and the Visual Music Award 2014 (Frankfurt - Visual Music Live Contest, first prize).
