The idea of creating the band dates back to July 2006, when it was formed by guitarist Rossen and drummer Pacho.
The band existed under various lineups and with no permanent name till 2009.IL PASARO got its name and was founded on 26 May 2009. This is the date when Evgeni joined to fill in the vacant lead singer position.
The name of the band derives from wordplay with the first syllables of the band members' names at that time.
The band’s aim has always been creating author music and establishing its unique style.
