Ilana lorraine's irresistible fusion of reggae, jazz, world and nu soul complimented by her sultry vocal tones and positive poetic lyricism are what make her very own, distinctive sound.
Her inspiration comes from the 'harmony' of her spiritual and musical upbringing, in a musically inclined family with her Jewish roots infused in her outlook on life. She wrote her first song at a young age which won her a finalist position and TV performance in an LWT Talent Show hosted by Melvin Bragg and Tommy Steele.

A popular fixture at London venues such as Jazz Cafe and music festivals performing alongside contemporaries such as Jessie J and Amy Winehouse, her music has been featured on Gary Crowley's BBC London Introducing radio show and across the BBC network.

Ilana is also renowned for hosting her prestigious live music nights across London and alongside other critically acclaimed artists such as Nate James, attracting the likes of Prince, Jill Scott and Aviv Geffen.

She was voted Most Popular Unsigned UK Act on the pioneering crowd sourced website Slicethepie and still holds their record for the quickest fan funding to date (£15k in just three weeks).

Her debut album, "My Little Tree", is fuelled by her zest for life and inspired by encounters and connections. It has generated impressive ranking for an emerging artist in Jazz/soul charts over the world, paving the way for synch placements. The signature centrepiece "I Choose Life" co-written with Kevin Mark Trail from The Streets, says it all "i take the make believe and i make real life..."

The much anticipated forthcoming album maintains the same themes of youth and empowerment with some more exciting collaborations
