Led by Maj Karma's Herra Ylppö, the Finland-based Herra Ylppö & Ihmiset released their debut album in early 2008.
The album, entitled Sata Vuotta, was promoted with a tour as 2008 got rolling, and managed to hit the top spot on the Finnish album charts shortly after its release. Backing up vocalist Ylppö on-stage and in the studio were Hamid Moeini on guitars, Jami Westergård on bass, Joona Kukkola on keyboards, and Jukka Kröger on drums. ~ Chris True
