I.D.F. can be labelled as "electro rock": a mixture of crunchy guitar riffs, “trancy” synth lines and techno rhythms. But there's more that meets the ear and the overall sound is rather uncommon in the scene - think of a cross-breed between KFMDM, White Zombie and Hardwire, with the electro side pushed further than any of the forementioned bands, but without losing the hard edge provided by the guitar riffs.
