He is best known for being part of the hip-hop duo NN$ and Telegraph. NN$ has always been involved in music ever since elementary school playing the trumpet and piano and starting rhyming at the age of 12. After High School in 1998, NN$ decided to attend San Diego State University. It was there where he formed a college crew called “Royalty” which eventually turned into the rap group “RCK” which consisted of Telegraph and 2 other friends/MC's; Isai and KDC. After college, the group decided to take music seriously and perform all around Southern California, opening up for big names acts like Too $hort and DJ Quik. The group put out several mixtapes and and the critically acclaimed underground album, “Confidence of a King' which was nominated for Best Hip hop album of 2009 at the San Diego Music Awards. The group eventually disbanded in 2009 and NN$ decided to take some time off after his mother's passing.

In 2011, NN$ decided to link up with Telegraph and work on an album. NN$ came back to the the game simply for the love of making music and now he is back for good. Telegraph and NN$'s chemistry was undeniable with witty lyricism, clever word play, along with fast and slow rhyming capabilities. NN$ and Telegraph self released an album called Swanky in the Fall of 2012 which spawned videos for their 2 hit singles “Swanky” and “Gold”. The Duo's swanky movement built a huge buzz in the city of San Diego which helped propel NN$'s solo career.

NN$ just recently released his solo album tilted Champion. On this EP, NN$ is delivers a powerful, inspirational, yet lyrical masterpiece in his quest to reach mainstream success. This album is the complete package with topics ranging from success, women, lyrical domination, never giving up, partying and even a song for his late mother. The overall theme of this concept album is overcoming obstacles and becoming a success story thus the title; Champion. Fresh off the HypeNation Tour and SXSW, NN$ landed a worldwide distribution deal with UMGD/INgrooves Fontana for his 2nd single "Roll Wit Me" off the Champion album.This hard-working emcee is on pace to make a name for himself in 2014!
