His leading singles "Paint A Picture" & "Let You Go" started getting noticed by many djs and radio stations. Through that, JL started gaining multiple show opportunities opening for artists such as Calvin Richardson, Urban Mystic, Verse Simmonds and more. While making his own way in the music business, JL was also touring with Memphis, TN based and 2011 Stellar Awards Nominee "Perfection" for two years while being signed to the legendary "Barkays" label, JEA/Testimony Records. JL has written and produced music for artists such Novakane (who topped the billboards charts in 2009) and Oscar Winning Artist- Frayser Boy. He is now back in the studio working on his highly anticipated album "Sounds Of Me" scheduled to release later this year.
