After helping H3X with the tracks creation up until mid-December when he quit music, Hexetron gave the track to H3X for full-time completion. The track was then released in late January.The track was a presumed failure, and The Hex Project was dissolved.

In February of 2016, H3X noticed the lack of , but demand, for a remix album based on Madeon's debut album 'Adventure', and silently began work on the album, releasing it in April of 2016 to minor success. H3X saw the potential of making a living off of these albums, and starting making remix albums instead of singles. This is what made H3X what he is today.

After these successful remix albums, H3X decided to re-release The Other Side in July 2016 alongside a track which was kept for a self-made EP entitled 'Time Changes Everything EP', but was ultimately cancelled.
