Hip Hop heads gravite to the Jonesboro, Louisiana-bred C’Nyle, like the planets to the sun.
Born (September 23, 1982) blessed with multiple talents in Entertainment and a Church based upbringing, this young man is truly an added piece to the puzzle of Hip Hop.
Like so many of his contemporaries, a change in circumstance at a pivotal time changed the course of C’Nyle's life. In his case, at the age of 11 C’Nyle moved to South Central, Los Angeles where he encountered the street temptations so synonymous with rap artists.
He's a man of the streets, intimately familiar with its codes and its violence, but still, C’Nyle, an incredibly intelligent and deliberate man, holds himself with a regal air as if above the pettiness which surrounds him.
C’Nyle’s music has been featured on MASTER P’s “West Coast Bad Boyz Part 3 Compilation” and the VH1 motion picture “Play'd”. And he displayed his acting chops recently starring as an intellectual hustler in the action packed motion picture “HEIST”.
Given the fact that he is overflowing with potential and is one third of the world's greatest rap group alive Tha Gataz, he has worked with artists such as: SNOOP DOGG, DJ JAM, RODNEY O & JOE COOLEY, AHMAD & THE 4TH AVENUE JONES, MELLOW MAN ACE, BOO YAA TRIBE, YING YANG TWINZ, NATE DOGG, THA DOGG POUND, WC, MACK 10, RAS KASS, E40, KNOC-TURN’AL, TONY G, JULIO G, DJ QUIK, MASTER P. AND LIL SNUPE.
Movies and music is something that never dies and can be traced, like a bloodline. The bloodline is all about keeping the blood of innovation flowing. The bloodline multiplies and flows from generation to generation. The bloodline travels through film, music, writing and producing to ownership. C’Nyle is currently working on his debut album not yet set to be titled while applying his Music Engineering skills to execute another great masterpiece from The Late Great Lil Snupe, which gives him even more motivation to tell his story and reach higher levels of success.
From the hood to white picket fences, a family and a successful career is all attainable. "I feel like my life in the entertainment industry has already been written and it's unfolding right before my eyes."
When it comes to his lyrical content he speaks powerful words of wisdom to his listeners while driving them to think as they vibe to what he calls “Mental Music®”. He says exactly what he wants to say and how he wants to say it! That "That nigga just said WEIRD shit." That "real life, parental advisory, graphic content made to make you think as you fight to truly be and by all means dance and party to it if you choose to".
Couple his true-life hardship with his knack for gritty and addictive music, it's clear that C’Nyle’s unique style and approach is destined to leave listeners yearning for more. Finally a rapper who is equal parts ambitious and humble, aggressive and empathetic, and witty while still being genuine.
