The aim was to capture the energy and feeling of the raw and unpolished blues and early rock‘n’roll from the late 40’s to the early 50’s such as their heroes Howlin’ Wolf , Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley - amongst others. Even their rework of tunes by bands such as Motorhead, Ac/Dc, Led Zeppelin or Johnny Cash do get that special “Hillbilly Rhythm & Blues” – treatment as they label it themselves. All the way from the “Emådelta”.

Their mix of all these elements and their energy brings every house down wherever they go.

Over the years Hurley & The Blue Dots have performed at the Blue Balls Festival/Luzern in Switzerland, Rocket Room at Debaser Stockholm, Roots & Blues-festival in Mönsterås, Rock at sea, Live & Jive "Pre-party", Engelen, Dusty Road Bluesfestival, Millners, CCW Rättviksparken, Cheese Coast Party etc.
