HOT RAIN forms in 2001 by the initiative of Mariusz leader and
composer creating a project focusing on the electronic music.
The first tracks of the band are inspired by bands such as
Dead Can Dance, Massive Attack, Juno Reactor band Faithless.
In 2002 first changes - the leader prepares a new electro project
with female vocals which is to be an ideal carrier of dynamic but full
of romanticism music. A new vocalist - Yvonne writes lyrics,
and Paul supports the team in programming and arrangements.
HOT RAIN gradually approaches towards a more dynamic rhythm
section and modern sounds, and is inspired by bands such as
VNV Nation, Covenant, L'Âme Immortelle and The Frozen Autumn.
The first concerts take place in the clubs of musicians homecity.
At the beginning of 2003 the group prepares a demo tracks,
which is warmly welcomed by fans of the genre.
Soon after that HOT RAIN has an opportunity to present their work
in local TV music program. Two video clips are made
while participating the program: "For your peace" and
"Electric Love". The clips appear many time later on TV for
the request of viewers. The song "Electric Love" gets
to the local radio hit list and remains in the top ten for many weeks.
In March HOT RAIN supports german group Melotron.
After that they get further propositions of concerts.
The band performs in Szczecin, Poznan, Schwedt, Grimmen, and Slovakia,
thanks to friendly invitation of LIOB and Kifoth. 2005 is the year
of intensive work in the studio. The band focuses on the
new material and the new analog synthesizers are added.
In 2006, HOT RAIN takes part in the competition for best remix,
organized by DJ RAM'a and “A Different Drum” label.
Group successfully creates the remix with vocals of
Colony5, which appears on the Virtual Server Setup album.
Meanwhile, the band creates more remixes, this time at the
request of the German FP group and a Sthilmann - Polish dj
and producer. In 2007 the group releases EP
"Crown of Emotions" published by Atum Records.
In 2008 appears the first album "Rights of Love".
In 2008-2010 the band gives concerts home and abroad.
They perform on the same stage with Solitary Experiments, Soman,
Apodygma Berzerk and De/Vision.
Year 2013 is a new chapter of HOT RAIN's productions.
Jay Rett - is taking over the vocalist's position.
Changes also reveal in the music style, which is more technically advanced
and moving into direction of atmospheric melody.
