Originating from Wivenhoe in Essex, Hobo Chang are a five piece psychedelic roots, soul, reggae band.

Hobo Chang have been lucky to share the stage with some fantastic bands and artists, namely Easy Star Allstars, Da Fugatiz, John Cooper Clarke, Toots & the Maytals, The Vibrators and many more. The band have a strong local following and support from press and radio and have received airplay several times on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Essex Introducing.

In March 2013 Hobo Chang released their first album, Smalltown Troubles, available for download from bandcamp.
