hiGhFi_dElitY consists of Hans and Fredy Burch, brothers from Switzerland - Obwalden, Sarnen.
Their music includes downbeat, big_beat, dubstep and drum'n'bass.

It all began in 1999 when the Burchs attended a swiss underground club. Highly impressed by the performing electronic live act, they decided that this would be the thing for them to do.

The following years they committed themselves to basic experimental work. Especially starting with a plain personal computer turned out to be a more demanding task than expected. But the Burchs fought it out and were able to process numerous styles of music into their work, including hiphop, acid jazz and metal.

In 2002 Hans and Fredy released their first full length album. An excellent rendition of psychadelic and trance, causing growing rumours in the electronic dance scene.

During the next couple of years the Burchs expanded their repertoire. This time it was all about lounge, downbeat, broken_beat, big_beat, breakbeat and drum'n'bass.

“Reconstruction” appeared on “Balearic Lounge Collection Vol.4” (2004), “Best Of Macao Cafe” (2005) and “The Sound Of Ibiza” (2007); released by the renomated record - label Macao Cafe Music.

A darker drum'n'bass-anthem “Strange Days”, became the winning title of a competition held by Keys magazine; released on Novatune (2005) as part of the related compilation.

In 2007 “Raw Power” and “What Comes Next?” were released by Holophon; “Remurderous” by iD.EOLOGY “Music Is About People Vol. 2” and “One Of These Days” by Merging Records “Mergingmixtape B.”

“Remurderous” became a clubber's favorite. Ils of Good Looking Rec. and Marine Parade fame repeatedly played it in their show at Ministry Of Sound.

Playing gigs alongside important artists such as Megablast (G-Stone Records - AT), DJ Aphrodite (V2R/Urban Takeover - UK), Adam F (Breakbeat Kaos - UK), Bad Company (BC/Breakbeat Kaos - UK), DC Breaks (RAM Rec.- UK), Futurebound (Viper Rec. -UK), Camo and Krooked (Hospital Rec. - AT), Optiv and BTK (Virus Rec. -UK), Ed Rush and Optical (Virus Rec. - UK), The Upbeats (Vision Rec. - NZ), State of Mind (SOM Music - NZ) and BSE (Black Sun Empire Rec. - NL) made them even more popular and they decided to release their first proper worldwide distributed album “BROTHERHOOD” (2008) with Holophon.

“We absolutely enjoy moving between all kind of styles in order to create a wider range of diversity – We love to try new things. Once we have an idea, we just go for it.” Hans and Fredy explain, “We always add new influences to our music. That is how we generate our very special characteristic sound. People recognise our tracks among others.”

„BROTHERHOOD“ was a major success and for this reason the title-track appeared on compliations such as „Luxury Lounge Dinner France“ and „Music for beaches“. Both entered the junodownload-charts in 2009 and astoundingly remained in the top 3 for more than three months. The boys even shared this top_position with the top act Thievery Corporation - how awesomely awesome does that sound?

In 2010 their dubstep-remix of Quincy Jointz „La Dub Musica“ was released by Timewarp Music and only one year later Phat Playaz rework of „Reconstruction Resmoked“ appeared on the US-label Telluric. Mr. Playaz has already released a few masterpieces on the well-known label Good Looking Rec., UK and so his refix was another milestone.

Their TC-refix of „Burning Starlight“ and the collaboration „Welcome to Euphoria“ featuring MC Dapper from London are currently on everyone‘s lips and the clubbers simply can’t get enough of it. Huge acts such as State of Mind (NZ) and Black Sun Empire (NL) have been playing their bad-ass-rawk‘ and roll-tunes lately.
