Helina Hewlett formerly known as “Khaista Diamond” is an Antiguan/British Singer, Songwriter, Dancer, Model, Actress and Cheerleader.
She is also into the positive development of one’s mind, body and soul.
In 2005 she and her brother Kelvin ‘Buckteet/Eternalkel’ Hewlett started dance group ‘JDI’, meaning “Just Do It”. Helina choreographed all the female dances in the group.
A few months after starting the group Helina moved to England and took a back seat on dancing but in March of 2006 she wrote her first song ‘Conversations’ which to date has not been published.
In 2009 Helina got into pageantry by entering the Miss Milton Keynes pageant. She received sashes for ‘Best Swimsuit Body’ and ‘Best Talent’.
After her experience with Miss Milton Keynes she began to step into the modeling world. In 2010 she modelled designs for Miss Brenda Artiste in both Milton Keynes and London. She also used her experience form Miss Milton Keynes to train some young ladies for the ‘Miss Tropical MK’ pageant and choreograph their introductory dance. In between her modeling she met up with Music and Video producer ‘Manthadara’ and released one of her songs ‘Focus’ via YouTube.
From May 2011 to December 2012 Helina entered the Miss Parish Queen pageant and won sashes for Miss Xtreme Body and Miss Congeniality. Modelled for the ‘Dream Catcher’ fashion, danced for ‘Greggerz’ from NMI in the carnival season and joined dance group ‘DUST’ which is owned by Antiguan singer, ‘Tizzy’, dancer ‘Mr. Stephen Gore’. Before leaving Antigua in December 2012 Helina featured in Music Video ‘Never Stop Loving You’ by new Antigua R&B/POP singer Mr. Brandon Browne as Khaista Diamond, the song now plays on Tempo.
Currently Helina is starring in Local Movie ‘Tragedy’ with producer Mr. Leroy Watson from JTV. The movie is still production so nothing has been put out to the public as yet.
