Headboard Jockeys is a 5-piece modern hard rock band fronted by female vocalist Uni Bowen.
She's bolstered by guitarists Kyle Bennington & Brian Keuling, and backed by a rhythm section consisting of Rich Scarano on bass & Simon Efrein on drums.

Since forming, they have opened for the national touring band We Are The Fallen (former Evanescence members), and have played at venues such as Kenny's Castaways in New York City and The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie, NY. In May of 2011, the band recorded their debut album "Fight the Panda" at the renowned Killingsworth Recording Studio in Farmingdale, NY with critically-acclaimed producer Anthony Santonocito. The opening track from that album is featured on a 2011 Warped Tour compilation by VXC Industries, which was handed out at various northeast tour dates. Their music has been featured on 92.7/96.9 WRRV radio's "Local Lockdown" program in additional to being in heavy rotation on the Philadelphia, PA-based internet radio station Black Collar Radio.

Headboard Jockeys has a unique sound, combining the various influences of its members which include Coheed & Cambria, Metallica, Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, Smashing Pumpkins and Tool among others. The result is, as Christopher Beaumont of Critical Outcast puts it, "a cross between modern hard rock and nu metal...with a touch of hip hop delivery."
