As often as the places changed, so did her taste in music, as artists like TLC, Prince, and Madonna flowed through the headphones. A move to Hollywood influenced her to try acting, then in 2008 she launched her music career. A year later she released her Shoe Fetish mixtape hosted by Idris Elba and DJ Shogun, while 2010 saw her release the hit single "Valley Girl." The Diary of a Valley Girl mixtape followed in 2011, then the Girlcode album followed in 2012. In 2014 she joined the cast of Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood and became known as the ex-girlfriend of Yung Berg, ex-girlfriend of Katt Williams, and ex-girlfriend of Ray J.
