Before that, I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA (some of you may know it as the City of Champions *wink wink*). I'm a big fan of small coffee houses, organic eating, live music festivals, The Legend of Zelda, cities at night, astronomy and the ocean. I've been playing the guitar for nine years, and I can also mess around with a bass, ukelele and ocarina. My family lives on a homestead, which means we have a garden, a decent amount of acreage and a small farm. On our farm we have two donkeys, too many chickens, two goats, and we're waiting for our recently purchased horses to come live with us. My family loves to travel, and I've been just about everywhere in the country except Arizona and California. I'm actually currently writing this bio while sitting beach-front in Key West (that's one of the bonuses of an online class!)
