Born in Varese, Italy. Resident in Rome and Berlin.

She began acting at the age of sixteen and at nineteen years old she is a memberof the artistic direction of the theatrecompany " Teatro del Sale "of Varese as an actress and director.

Her training as an actress and singer began in 1982 in Milan at the Scuola del Mimodramma with the master Kuniaki Ida and in 1986 she graduated from theSchool of Theatre and Commedia dell'Arte “Teatro Avogaria” of Venice, directed byGiovanni Poli.

She has completed her theater studies with : Ingemar Lindht director of the Institute of Scenic Art (Sweden) , Eugenio Barba (Denmark) and with various drama teachers inItaly, United Kingdom , Scandinavia and Germany. From 2001 she studied acting with Lena Lessing ( Berlin).

She studied singing with Ida Kelarova (UK and Czech Republic ) , Pina Magri (Rome ), Mary Setrakyan (New York) and Barry Harris , (New York) .

Since 2004 she collaborates in Rome , together with her

Italian - Gypsy band “Officina Nomade " and with the same band she has collaborated with Moni Ovadia in concerts and art projects . Since 2010 she is solo singer in the choir of concentration camp music orchestra conducted by Maestro Francesco Lotoro.

She is currently leader of two musical projects : " Gypsyliana and the Italiens Attack" , (Berlin) and Cristina Gypsyliana duo, (piano ad voice).
