Gorilla Warfare has played close to 200 shows throughout the South and Mid-West states over the last 9 years sharing the stage with some great bands ranging from Agnostic Front, Death Before Dishonor, Hoods, D.R.I., Ramallah, Death Threat, Champion, Flatfoot 56, Ringworm, War of Ages, Sworn Enemy, No Turning Back, Brutal Truth,Becoming The Archetype, and many others. The band recorded a demo in spring 2006, and then released a 12 song full length album "Battlefields" in Summer 2007. Winter 2008 saw the band record another demo CD that was given away for free to anybody that came to our live shows or bought a T-shirt . Gorilla Warfare has had songs appear on numerous compilation CD's over the years. One of the best was called "Operation United Forces" which was a benefit CD for Military service members serving overseas.Besides Gorilla Warfare, bands like Wisdom In Chains, H8 INC, Bouncing Souls, 25 Ta Life, all donated songs for the comp. In 2009 GW recorded 3 new songs at a studio in Murfreesboro,TN for an EP called "Keep On Smiling". The EP never got a true release as intended, although the songs were donated for use on 3 different compilations. The band continued playing live shows until Summer 2012. Gorilla Warfare lost a few members and decided to take a year off from playing live shows to regroup, as well as write and record a new full length album. The result of the last years work is our strongest band line up to date ,and the best Recorded songs we have ever written.
