The founder of Australia's Chapter Music and a former member of Minimum Chips and Sleepy Township, Guy Blackman struck out on his own in 2004 with an arsenal of drowsy, sweetly retro tunes that nodded to artists like Jens Lekman and the Kings of Convenience.
Appearing on a Nervous Jerk compilation, 2007's E.S.P., with the song "Unsteady," Guy Blackman went on to release his debut album, Adult Baby, through Unstable Ape in 2008. The album featured a duet with Jens Lekman and a vocal cameo by the Art of Fighting's Peggy Frew. ~ Margaret Reges
