Hailing from Kingston, MA, Eternal Suffering delivered a single album in 1999's Drowning in Tragedy -- featuring brutal death metal akin to Suffocation or Nile -- then left behind hardly a trace of their existence.
But the band had in fact been active since as far back as 1994, committing a 1997 demo to tape before the lineup of vocalist Wayne Sarantopoulos, guitarists Chris Glover and Brian Evans, bassist Jon Landolfi, and drummer Chad Connell got around to recording the LP that would mark both their arrival and departure from the scene. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
