Grandpa Egg is a psych-folk band out of Pittsburgh, PA, formed in 2010 around singer/songwriter Jeb Morris and his brother, multi-instrumentalist and producer Bart Morris.
They recorded a “debut album” SONGS FOR MY CAT in 2011 before expanding the line-up to a four-piece—adding keyboard-player / bassist Inga Kristaponyte and percussionist Jordin Goff—and releasing a follow-up album PRAYING MANTIS in 2014.Live incarnations of the band vary from 1-3 members, with brother Bart acting primarily as a recording-member only. Grandpa Egg performances are uncommon due to Jeb’s tinnitus and perhaps a general lack of attendance at shows.
