Glasmus is a Mexican rock band from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, formed in 2012 by singer ¨Magdalen¨, rhytym guitarist ¨Móosni¨ and bassist ¨Macondo¨ of the defunct post-punk group Aeroplanos, as well as lead guitarist ¨Mousiky¨ of the progressive post-rock group Ambiente, both of them active bands in the Mexican indie-music scene since the early 2000s.

The band's line-up was completed by drummer ¨Moncho¨ in early 2014, after a string of session and live drummers.

In their two year existence, Glasmus has released an EP with 4 singles, 4 official videos, and became the first Mexican rock band to be picked as 91X - San Diego's 'Local band of the month' in July 2012.

Glasmus is known for their constant energetic live shows as well as ¨having their own style¨, as stated by Goldenvoice founder Gary Tovar in regards to the band´s performance at the 2014 All My Friends Music Festival, held in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico.

Their diverse sound is crafted by the blend of their constant sonic explorations, mixing everything from 80s post-punk and 90s alternative rock, to drone heavy post-rock and their own take on pop-rock.

The band will release their 2nd EP titled "VAHUM" vía their own Qongo records label on April 6th 2015. First single "Waves" out Jan 29th 2015.
