He is a pianist and composer and started to play the piano when he was eight years old.Since 1987 he devoted himself to jazz and improvised music. He attended the seminars of Siena Jazz Summer in 1991 where he studied with Franco D'Andrea and Enrico Pierannunzi and a workshop held by Muhal Richard Abrams and Roscoe Mitchell in 1993 in Trento.

In 1992 he enrolled at the conservatory of music 'G. Tartini' of Trieste and in 1996 obtained a diploma in piano under the guidance of professor Massimo Gon.

In recent years his intense musical activity led him to perform in various festivals, theaters and jazz clubs.

In 2001 with other musicians of North-East Italy he founded the Phophonix Association whose goal is the study, promotion and dissemination activities of the orchestras of improvisation.

In the same year he was part of the Orchestra Phophonix, a formidable laboratory of improvised music and, in 2007, he wrote the suite "Gift of the Seek" presented at the 1st National Meeting of the musical collective research Massalombarda.

From 1999 to 2007 he collaborated with the singer Elisa Toffoli.

He's also involved in in theater and film projects.

He has worked with the Zerorchestra which was a project which combines the language of contemporary jazz with the images of the early cinema.

He collaborated with the saxophonist Jessica Lurie and the illustrator Danijel Zezelj on the project 'Nosorog - multimedia performance', combining music and live painting, which is also present at the International Festival of Animation (Animafest) held in Zagreb in June 2008.

In 2008 and 2009 he participated in musical and theatrical show called “Abbastanza: assenza e presenza”, brainchild of American cellist Tristan Honsinger.

In 2009 he became the project manager of the “Orchestra dei mati de Trieste” born within the Department of Mental Health, organizing music workshops involving users and patients.

In 2011 he lived in Berlin where he had the opportunity to play and work with important musicians in improvised music.

He has taught as a teacher of piano and harmony.
