He is one the most respectful Greek DJs and still plays music only from vinyl, with a personal collection of more than 5.000 records. His personal sound is a mix of electronica music, based in Detroit – Berlin techno & tech-house, with a lot of 80s and 90s classic vinyls, all blended with Apergis’ unique mixture.

His vinyl releases “Quelle” and “Ekhowax” on his label Modular Expansion Records (with remixes from Johannes Volk, Zadig, Lee Holman, Truncate, NX1 and Birth Of Frequency) have gotten great support from worldwide artists like Juan Atkins, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Josh Wink, Marcel Dettmann (played it live at Boiler Room), Dubfire, Damon Wild, Ben Sims, Mark Broom, Technasia, The Advent, Umek, DJ Hyperactive, Jack de Marseille, Slam, Stephan Bodzin, Space djz, Paul Brtschitsch, Tommy Four Seven, and many others. George Apergis is also active in a side-project with his label partner Alex Retsis, and together they have released the tracks “The Pusher” with Axel Karakasis remix and “Minthe” with remixes by Dave Tarrida, Lee Holman and Dez with more to come. Apergis has also released several tracks on labels like Sabotage, Omega Audio, F2 Recordings, unGleich Berlin, In Fact records and has a collaboration with Christian Cambas at Bellboy & Audio Therapy records. He has also released 3 cd compilations with worldwide artists like Substance, Memory Foundation, Oliver Huntemann, Thomas Schumacher, Stephan Bodzin, Renato Cohen, Zoo Brazil, Beroshima, M.A.N.D.Y., John Tejada, Alter Ego, Isolee at Freeze mgzn.

George Apergis has produced remixes for Avadon aka Yotam Anvi on 001 under Modular Expansion records, for T.I.M. on Introspection under Etichetta Nera, for Analog Trip with VGO on “Declaration Of Silence” under Elektrik Dreams Music, for VGO on “Robot Flense” under TDS records and De Vox on “Bring It Again” under Housevisions records.

He’s also active as a member of the Athens Voice newspaper & Soul magazine and as a journalist he worked in several Greek music magazines like Sound Maker, Oxy, Partysan, Freeze, Lemon, Fast Forward where he promotes Techno music in Greece.

As an organizer and DJ he has played along side Carl Cox, Chris Cowie, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Alexander Kowalski, Adam Beyer, dj Rolando, Darren Price,Pacou, Dj Pete – Substance, Vainqueur, Sender Berlin etc. He has performed shows in famous European clubs such as Legendary Tresor in Berlin, Moog and Macarena in Barcelona, Luzztro in Warsaw and Gorod, Neo, Open Kafe, Severnoe Depo, Atoll in Moscow and in the most prestigious clubs and festivals in Greece.
