Over the next few years, GBS has made a strong name for themselves in the local and regional areas of the states. Playing with many national acts such as, The Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack!, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, Sleeping With Sirens and many more, Goodbye Blue Skies has captivated the crowd proving to be more just a new name in the scene. During mid-late 2008 the band headed to Columbus, Ohio to record a handful of songs which became the band's first EP entitled “Demos” which sparked a lot of interest in the band on social networking sites such as Myspace, this also helped them gain a spot in AMP Magazine's “Unsigned Artist Spotlight” as well as a mini tour with then Victory Records Four Letter Lie. After playing a handful of local and regional shows in 2009, the band took most of 2010 writing their follow up to “Demos”.In September of 2010 the band headed to Bay City, Michigan to record their second EP entitled “Visions” with producer Josh Schroeder which was released in April of 2011. This created an even bigger buzz for the band which helped them release their first music video, open up for a lot of national acts and even placed them on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour in Detroit.
