Through eight years of hardship including homelessness, joblessness, and being without income, or savings, Gabe survived. All the while, if he wasn't writing BLAHGS about the absurdities of American culture based upon his experiences in Athens, Ga, "a slice of America Georgia really needs, minus the beggars" as Gabe likes to say; he was trying to make something happen. Gabe's primary background has been in Advertising and Marketing. Finding himself without a job, he began to develop accounts where he acted as a social media marketing manager before the advent of the smart phone. Now, he's just getting started!

However, before he does, he has this to say about the new My Space:

"It was time to write a new bio anyway, but I'm not real happy about the way I was prompted. Since 2005 I have posted BLAHGS on My Space. Always singing their praises as superior to superficial Facebook, I remained loyal. Plus, their terms and conditions are much more user friendly. Instead of trying to claim rights to anything you ever publish on their site, My Space affords creatives rights to their work. Whereas, Facebook at one time tried to claim rights to anything you published on their site as if the Mead corporation tried to claim rights to anything ever written in one of their notebooks. Absurd. Where are my BLAHGS".
