'I'm a House head.
Where did all the house heads go?'

In an already crowded pool of talented Toronto Djs, Gerard “G.Cue” Valdez emerges as a respected underground house Dj/Artist and one of the local scene builders to watch out for. His passion for House music and the meshing of its sounds runs 20 years deep. Starting at the early age of 13, mixing Hip-Hop, Funk and R’N’B - he fell in love with house music hearing records produced by Nightmares on Wax, Lil Louis, Robert Owens, and Clivillés & Cole. From that point he was hooked. While attending parties when the rave and dance music culture in Toronto was on the rise in the mid-nineties, Gerard 'GCue' Valdez enjoyed partying & dancing to every genre of electronic music, but found his way back to his roots of house music - thanks in part to Toronto’s legendary Industry Nightclub, where he was always inspired on the dance floor by DJs, Cevin Fisher, DJ Heather, Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Derrick Carter and DJ Sneak, as well as, local legends Matt C & Kenny Glasgow.

As his love and dedication to the music grew, opportunities started knocking from those who recognized his talent, allowing him to play alongside the djs he has respected during his late night dance floor escapades.

Currently, GCue is working hard in the studio learning and crafting his production skills, collaborating with like-minded local & international artists, to create his own style of deeply rooted house music and to share it with the world.
